FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Men's and Women's Cross Country teams made the trip up to Fayetteville for the Chile Pepper Festival this Friday.
The women's team placed sixth overall out of 34 schools, and the men's team placed tenth out of 30 schools.
Madeline Hill's time of 17:26.4 earned her the number three spot on UCA's list of top-5 record times in the 5K race.

Madeline Hill led the women's team with a personal record time of 17:26.4 to finish 16
th in the 5K race.
Sara Steimel was close behind in 24
th with a time of 17:40.3.
Kayleigh Wagnon finished 45
th with a personal record time of 18:08.4 and
Ali Nachtigal had a personal record time of 18:14.9 to finish 52
nd.
Jewel Baer finished 108
th with a personal record time of 18:52.4 and
Felisa Saheib was close behind in 111
th with a time of 18:54.5.

th with a time of 19:13.2,
Emma Selph finished 175
th with a 19:27.1, and
Anna Bommes finished 181
st with a time of 19:33.5 out of 297 athletes.

Jack Dingman led the men's team in the 8K race with a personal record time of 24:57.9 to place 26
th.
Gavin Frick finished 48
th with a personal record time of 25:20.9,
Pete Johnson finished 55
th with a 25:24.7, and
Thomas Cain finished 67
th with a time of 25:37.5.
Carlos Hernandez had a time of 26:56.1 to finish 162
nd.
Ky Bickford was close behind in 170
th with a time of 26:59.5 and

Hayden Boyett finished with a personal record time of 32:16.3 to finish 290
th out of 292 athletes.
