CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas cross country teams begin their 2025 season Saturday morning, hosting the 2025 UCA Bear Invitational at Beaver Fork Lake. The women's race is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m., while the men's race will start at 9:10 a.m.
 
Eight schools – Central Arkansas, Arkansas-Monticello, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, UA Rich Mountain, Henderson State, Little Rock, North Texas and Philander Smith – will vie for the top spot. 
 
The Central Arkansas women were picked to finish fourth in the Atlantic Sun preseason coaches poll last Wednesday, while the men were picked to finish sixth.
