CENTRAL ARKANSAS ATHLETICS CLEAR-BAG POLICY
Formed in 2017 with the aid of the University of Central Arkansas Police Department and the UCA Administration, Central Arkansas Athletics has implemented a clear-bag policy at all ticketed athletic events, deemed necessary due to new Arkansas Concealed Carry laws. This proactive measure will enhance safety inside and outside of Central Arkansas Athletics venues. Similar policies have recently been instituted at many pro and NCAA venues in order to provide additional levels of safety for spectators.
The following bags will be allowed:
• Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag that do not exceed 12”x6”12”
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc, etc.)
• Small clutch bags – with or without a handle or strap – that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”
Some opaque bags will still be permitted under the clear bag policy, including medical and child care/diaper bags, but will be subject to search upon entry. Fans are encouraged to bring only necessary items to Central Arkansas Athletics events.
Blankets, cameras, radios, water bottles, binoculars and seat cushions/portable chair backs will still be allowed in the stadium, but subject to search.
Fans are still permitted to enter and leave Central Arkansas Athletics venues as in the past, but for ticketed events must present a valid ticket/stub or credential to re-enter.
