CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas cross country teams travel to Alabama to take part in the 2025 Crimson Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama. The men will lead off the day with an 8k race starting at 8:30 a.m., while the women will run a 6k at 9:20.
In their last race, the men finished 22
nd in Mizzou's Gans Creek Classic.
Jack Dingman led the Bears, finishing 81
st overall. Three runners,
Trae Baker,
Ky Bickford and William Hill, set personal best times in that 8k race.
The women finished 15
th in the Gans Creek Classic with
Madeline Hill placing 19
th overall.
Arizona Blankenship also finished in the top 100, placing 92
nd in that race.
The Bears are looking to gain momentum from this race before heading into the ASUN Championships in just a couple weeks.
215 runners are slated for the men's race on Friday, hailing from 20 schools. 222 runners from 23 schools are set to compete on the women's side.
