JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Track and Field teams traveled to Hodges Stadium to compete in the ASUN Conference Championships. After day two of competition, the Men's team rests in fifth place and the women's team is in eighth place.

Breaking the record in the women's Discus Throw, Miranda Nichols placed sixth with a personal record throw of 42.14m (138-3.0).

On Saturday, the meet will start off with the men's Discus at 3:00 p.m. and the running events will start at 4:45 p.m. with the women's 4x100 relay.

In the women's Discus Throw, Miranda Nichols placed sixth with a throw of 42.14m (138-3.0). Kiara Williams finished 10^th with a throw of 38.50m (126-3.0).
In the women's Long Jump, Natalie Louw finished 10^th with a jump of 5.50m (18-0.25).
In the men's Shot Put, Aidan Patton placed seventh with a throw of 16.30m (53-5.75).
In the men's High Jump, Robert Ricks III finished 10^th with a jump of 1.73m (5-8.0).
 
Track Events
In the women's 400m dash prelims, Zadie St. Louis placed eighth with a qualifying time of 56.40. Grace Deshotels finished 18^th with a time of 58.35.
 
In the men's 400m dash prelims, Tyrone Luckett placed sixth with a qualifying time of 48.86.
 
In the women's 100m dash prelims, Kendelle McCoy placed fourth with a qualifying time of 11.81. Ciara Tucker was close behind in fifth, qualifying with a time of 11.82. Z'Kiah Kuykendall placed eighth with a qualifying time of 11.94, Kamaria Russell placed 11^th with a time of 12.02, and Indiyah Aldridge finished 17^th with a time of 12.66.
 
In the men's 100m dash prelims, Wesley Suen placed second with a qualifying time of 10.45. TyJuan Huffman placed fourth with a qualifying time of 10.64.
 
In the women's 100m hurdles prelims, Kayla Scott finished 10^th with a time of 14.86.
 
In the women's 800m run prelims, Emma Selph finished 11^th with a time of 2:13.07. Anna Bommes finished 13^th with a time of 2:13.67.
 
In the men's 800m prelims, Bresner Austin finished 18^th with a time of 1:59.55.
 
In the women's 3000m Steeplechase, Ali Nachtigal placed ninth with a time of 12:16.34.
