CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Track & Field teams are ready for the outdoor season this weekend. The Richard Martin Jr. Invitational will be held this Friday and Saturday.

The meet will be held at our recently renamed Richard Martin Jr. Track and Field and the Bill Stephens Soccer Complex.
 
On Friday, the outdoor season will begin with the Men's Hammer Throw at 1:00 p.m. the running events will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the Men's 200m.

On Saturday, the day starts off with the Women's 5000m at 10:00 a.m. and the field events begin with the Women's Discus at 12:00 p.m.

"We are excited to host the Richard Martin Jr. Invitational this weekend. Anytime you get to compete on your home turf, it brings a special and prideful feeling. I know our athletes are looking forward to representing UCA here at home. We are excited to kickoff the outdoor track season as we prepare for the ASUN Championships in Jacksonville, Fla. The weather looks to be nice, and we welcome all of Conway to support our young men and women who are competing."
