From the Coach – Head Coach Josey Weaver
"Our men battled some very tough competition today. I was proud of the way we competed and raced with energy and effort the whole time. We obviously want to win a championship, so anytime you fall short of that, you're not satisfied. Considering seven of the eight runners with us are back next year, we're excited about the future.
Extremely proud of our women's growth. This same group of young ladies were 10th last year, and they jumped all the way up to 5th place in a year. We have eight of our ten runners returning for next year. Big-time performances from Madeline Hill (Third Team All-ASUN) and Sara Steimel. They have led our group all year long. Ali Nachtigal, Jewel Baer and Felisa Saheib stepped up for us, as well.
