TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears traveled to the Crimson classic this Friday.

Madeline Hill led the women's team and earned the #2 spot on UCA's Top-5 fastest times in the 6K race with the time of 20:35.1. Sara Steimel earned the #3 spot with her time of 20:54.2.

For the women's team, Madeline Hill finished 12^th in the 6K race with a personal record time of 20:35.1. Sara Steimel finished 26^th with a personal record time of 20:54.5, Ali Nachtigal finished 73^rd with a personal record time of 21:35.8, and Kayleigh Wagnon finished 87^th with a personal record time of 21:47.7. Felisa Saheib was close behind to place 106^th with a personal record time of 22:04.3 and Anna Bommes finished 126^th with a personal record time of 22:20.2. Staying close together, Emma Selph finished 147^th with a personal record time of 22:42.3 and Jewel Baer finished 149^th with a personal record time of 22:44.0. Sequoya Prentice finished 160^th with a personal record time of 22:52.8 and Alexis Frick finished 191^st with a personal record time of 23:39.0.
 
Men's Results
Leading the men's team, Jack Dingman finished 31^st in the 8K race with a personal record time of 24:41.1. Thomas Cain finished 60^th with a time of 25:05.4, Carlos Hernandez finished 124^th with a personal record time of 26:04.3, and Beau Melancon finished 168^th with a personal record time of 27:04.8. Bresner Austin finished 172^nd with a time of 27:11.3 and Ky Bickford finished 183^rd with a time of 27:33.3. Johnny Cordero finished 207^th with a time of 29:03.5.

"Our men were a little short staffed this week. We had to leave two of our top guys at home. IT was great to see two new guys step up and fill those roles. I think we took another step in the right direction as we get ready for the ASUN Conference Championships in two weeks. We're excited to lineup and see how we stack up in the conference.
Our women ran lights out. Every single member our team ran a PR. We had to huge race performances from Madeline Hill and Sara Steimel. They became the #2 and #3 fastest all-time for our UCA Cross Country. We will be ready to put our best foot forward in two weeks when we get to Nashville."
