CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Cross Country teams are headed to the Chile Pepper Festival this Friday. The race will be held in Fayetteville and is a weekend-long event with collegiate races, high school races, and races open to the public.
The women's team will compete in the College Women's 5K at 4:30 p.m., and the men's team will compete in the "McDonnell Memorial" College Men's 8K at 5:00 p.m.

"We are excited to be racing again after our three-week training block. I like the gains we have made as a team during this time. Now it's up to us to display our fitness on a national level. We will get to test ourselves against some of the best teams in the country."
