CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Cross Country teams are headed to Huntsville, Ala. for the ASUN Conference Championships this Saturday, October 29^th.

The race will be held at the John Hunt Park in Huntsville. The women's team will race at 8:00 a.m. and the men's team will race at 8:45 a.m.

At last year's championship, the women's team placed sixth overall in the 5K race and the men's team placed seventh overall in the 8K race.

"This is an exciting time of year. Championship season is here and we get to see how we match up against the rest of the ASUN competition. For us the team message stays the same as it's been all year long: control only what we can control. If we do that then we will have run our best. This is a year of a lot of first-time experiences for our program and this weekend we take the first step in building the framework for the years to come."
