CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas men's and women's cross country teams travel to Little Rock for the final race of 2020 on Saturday. The race will be the final installment of the I-40 Governor's Showdown.
The women will be represented by
Anna Bommes,
Bekah Bostian,
Casey Gore,
Sara Holman,
Anna Jeffcoat,
Sarah Grace Meek,
Emily Newberry,
Tamara Reeves, Marie Møller Schmidt, and
Kennedy Timmerman.
On the men's side,
Thomas Cain,
Jared Hamilton,
Hunter Henderson,
Braeden Hindley,
Parker Jackson,
Max Nores,
Brayden Ortiz,
Simon Schneider,
Jared Touart, and Tate Whale will be running for the Bears.
UCA will be joined by Arkansas State, Delta State (women only), Jacksonville College (Texas), Little Rock, Louisiana, Missouri State (women only), Philander Smith, UA-Fort Smith, and ULM.
The women will run a 5K and the men will run an 8K at War Memorial Park. The women are scheduled for a 10:15 a.m. start time, followed by the men at 11 a.m.
UCA leads the Governor's I-40 Showdown, 10-0, after three events.
