Final Results
CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas women's cross country team recorded its first ever Southland Conference Championship on Friday, at Beaverfork Lake Park.
Erin Woodward,
Gracie Hyde, and
Tamara Reeves each earned All-SLC honors. For the second time in program history, UCA has won a conference championship, the only other time was in 1998 as a member of the Gulf South Conference.

Woodward led the Bears with a career-best run of 21:40.9 and earned Second-Team All-SLC with her seventh-place finish on the 6K course. Hyde finished right behind in eighth place with a personal-best time of 21:44.1 and picked up a Second-Team All-SLC nod in the process. Reeves collected Third-Team All-SLC with her 12th-place finish and her career-best run of 22:03.7.

With her career-best mark of 22:12.0,
Sara Steimel placed 18th in the field of 90 runners.
Julia Clark also produced the fastest time in her career with a 19th-place mark of 22:13.1.
Casey Gore ran the fastest she has ever run with her effort of 22:33.4, as she placed 28th.
Bekah Bostian added another personal-best time for the Bears as she clocked a mark of 23:13.7 and placed 47th.
Kennedy Timmerman rounded out the career marks with time of 23:23.9 as she finished the race in 56th place.

Beau Theriot was named the Southland Conference Coach of the Year.
UCA returns to action on Friday, Nov. 15, for the NCAA South Central Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
