BIRMINGHAM, Ala. _ The University of Central Arkansas won two events and set two school records at the Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

Junior Hannah Noble of Berryville broke the school record in the high jump and took the gold with a 5-07.75 jump. Sophomore Alex Hanson, from Thatcham, England, won the 800 meters in 1:50.87, also a new UCA record.

UCA's men finished sixth overall with 49 points while the women's squad finished 10th.

Sophomore Zachary Jewell placed in three different events, finishing fourth in the 200 meters (21.51), fifth in the 60 meters (6.85) and running a leg on the fifth-place 4x400 team (3:18.48) along with Hanson, Daniel Lawson and Marcel Keeton. Jewell was also ninth in the long jump.

Senior Eric Moore finished second in the high jump with a leap of 7-00.50. UCA's distance medley relay team of Markus Schweikert, Keeton, Shamal Sullivan and Julien Jeandree came in third in a time of 10:11.73. Schweikert also finished sixth in the 5,000 meters (15:02.13) and Preston Borg was eighth (15:08.46). Jeandree got sixth in the 3,000 meters (8:37.00) and Borg was ninth (8:41.01).

Senior Daniel Lawson got three points in the 400 meters with a sixth-place finish (48.79), while freshman Jordan Atkins finished seventh in the 60-meter hurdles (8.38). 

On the women's side, junior Logan Morton finished eighth in the triple jump with a 30-06 jump. Freshman Jordan Brock was eighth in the 800 meters in a time of 2:18.74. Junior Taylor Dunn finished seventh in the 5,000 meters in 17:35.72 and ninth in the 3,000 meters (10:11.29). 

UCA's distance medley team of Charlotte Blair, Victoria Campfield, Brock and Erin Woodward was ninth (12:29.95). The 4x400 relay squad consisting of Morton, Ajah Criner, Taylor Coleman and Brock finished 11th (4:00.17).
