CONWAY, Ark. – Head coach
Derek Nichols and the Central Arkansas women's soccer team have announced the schedule for the 2026 season. With 19 games on deck, including quality regional non-conference games and year one in the United Athletic Conference, the Bears are slated for an exciting season in the fall.
The 2026 season officially starts on August 12
th, with the Bears' home-opener against Oral Roberts at the Bill Stephens Track and Soccer Complex. It marks the first of nine non-conference games, and the first of four home games before the start of UAC play. Central Arkansas also faces Alabama State (Aug. 27
th), UT Martin (Sept. 6
th) and Nevada (Sept. 10
th) at home during the non-conference slate. On the road, the Bears will continue all-time series against Arkansas State, Missouri State, Oklahoma State and Southeast Missouri State.
September 24
th marks the beginning of a new era for Central Arkansas women's soccer: the first conference match as members of the UAC. Officially joining the conference for 15 of the 18 varsity sports at Central Arkansas, the Bears kick off the new era against Tarleton State at home. The Bears will face three new teams as part of the new conference, including the Texans, the Little Rock Trojans, and the Abilene Christian Wildcats.
The Bears will also still face the members of the ASUN that are moving to the new conference with them, in Eastern Kentucky, West Georgia, Austin Peay and North Alabama. Central Arkansas hosts three-straight UAC games late in the conference season, hosting Austin Peay (Oct. 15
th), North Alabama (Oct. 18
th) and Abilene Christian (Oct. 25
th) to close out the home schedule.
