Conway, Ark.- The ASUN Conference announces Denver Hamilton as the Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

In Hamilton's start on Saturday, the Bears beat APSU 8-0. Hamilton, a Junior from Red Oak, Oklahoma, threw 7 shutout innings against the Govs. Hamilton only gave up two hits resulting in a 0.0 ERA, he struck out 12 batters and only walked 1 batter. With the win against the Govs, Hamilton now has a 4-0 record on the season with a 2.54 ERA.

He gives everything he has to his teammates when the ball is in his hand. He is a winner and makes us better. We are all thankful for him".

This week the Bears have a mid-week game at Arkansas Pine Bluff on Tuesday afternoon, first pitch at 3 p.m. On the weekend, the Bears will have an ASUN series at North Alabama; Thursday at 7 p.m., Friday at 3 p.m., and Saturday at 1 p.m.
