Conway, Ark. – The Central Arkansas tennis team is set for a two-match road trip, taking on North Alabama on Thursday, March 21, in Florence, Ala., at 11 a.m., before heading to Nashville to face Lipscomb on Sunday, March 24, at 12 p.m.

The Bears (7-8) are looking to build momentum as they continue conference play. UCA has shown strong performances in recent matches.

North Alabama (11-2) presents a competitive challenge, with a talented roster looking to defend their home court. In past meetings, UCA holds a 3-1 all-time series lead against the Lions, though North Alabama won the most recent matchup on April 7, 2024, in a narrow 4-3 contest. The Bears previously won three straight matches against UNA from 2013 to 2023, including a dominant 7-0 victory in 2022.

Following the matchup against UNA, the Bears will shift their focus to Lipscomb (8-4), a team that has been a consistent competitor in conference play. UCA also holds a 3-1 series lead over Lipscomb, but the Bisons claimed a commanding 7-0 victory in the last meeting on April 5, 2024. Before that, the Bears had won three straight against Lipscomb from 2022 to 2023, including a 7-0 sweep in their first-ever meeting on March 18, 2022.
