CONWAY, Ark. _ Two University of Central Arkansas track and field student-athletes earned Atlantic Sun Conference weekly honors on Wednesday.

Joia Perry was named the Women's Field Athlete of the Week, while Jaden Schneeberger was the Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

Perry, a sophomore from Mansfield, Texas, broke her own school record in the weight throw with a toss of 18.96 meters to finish second at the Washburn (Kan.) Open. Perry also set a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 11.25 meters.

Schneeberger, a senior from Ponca City, Okla., set a school record in the shot put with a throw of 16.48 meters to finish fifth overall.

UCA competes next at the Tyson Invite in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Ichabod Challenge in Topeka, Kan., on Feb. 14-15.
