Conway, Ark. - The University of Central Arkansas women's tennis team edged out Southeast Missouri State (SEMO) in a thrilling 4-3 victory on January 25 at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. The tightly contested dual match came down to the singles lineup, where UCA clinched the win.

UCA began the day strong, securing the doubles point with victories on courts two and three. The duo of Ting-An Chen and Seohyun Park dominated on court three, winning 6-2, while the pairing of Nanoka Kazama and Nanami Fukushima clinched a 6-3 win on court two. Despite a hard-fought effort, UCA's top doubles team fell short on court one.

In singles action, UCA's momentum continued. Vimuktananda delivered a commanding 6-1, 6-4 victory on court one, while Park contributed a straight-sets win, 6-3, 6-3, on court five. The match's decisive moment came from Nanoka Kazama on court four, who rallied to secure a 6-4, 6-4 win after intense back-and-forth exchanges. 

Although SEMO pushed back with wins on courts two, three, and six, UCA's depth and early doubles success proved to be the difference-maker.
