CONWAY, Ark – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will be back in action in September for the Fall 2023 season.
 
At last year's ASUN Conference, the women's team earned 302 points in the 5K race to place 10^th overall. The men's team earned 172 points in the 8K race and placed sixth overall. 
 
The Bears will start off the season on September 2nd for the UCA XC Challenge at Beaverfork Lake. Next, they will travel to Nashville, Tenn. for the Michael Pretorius Invitational on September 16^th and then travel to Fayetteville for the Chile Pepper Festival the following weekend, September 29^th.
 
Going into October, the Bears will race in Tuscaloosa, Ala. for the Crimson Classic. October 28^th brings the ASUN XC Championships held in Nashville, Tenn. The NCAA South Central XC Championships will be held in Fayetteville on November 10^th and the NCAA XC Championship meet with take place on November 18^th in Charlottesville, Va.
