CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas tennis program returns to Conway to take on the Harding Bisons in another double header on Sunday.
The Bears enter Sunday's twin-billing coming off of a 5-1 loss to the Belmont Bruins in the Music City, which dropped the Bears back to 0-3 on the season. While UCA did drop the match last Saturday, a massive bright spot was revealed in Jaeun Lee. Lee and sophomore Nicole Ross took down the Bruins No. 2 doubles team, and then Lee won a three set decision against Belmont's No. 2 singles player. The Bisons' trip to Conway will be their first taste of action on the young season.
The Bears and Bisons have squared off seven times before, with UCA holding a 6-1 record. UCA is also 4-0 all-time against the Bisons at home. The last meeting came all the way back in 2016, with the Bears emerging victorious, 7-0.
Central Arkansas and the Bisons play match one at the UCA Tennis Courts starting at 12:00 p.m. and will play the second match at 3:00 p.m.
