CONWAY, Ark. - After a hot start to the ASUN conference slate, the Central Arkansas tennis program hopes to continue that stretch as they continue their road trip to Jacksonville, Ala.
The Bears hope to make themselves perfect on this quick two-match stretch as they face off against Jacksonville State tomorrow afternoon.
Fresh off of a clean sweep, 7-0, victory against the Bisons of Lipscomb, UCA will do battle with the Gamecocks to keep their undefeated start. Jacksonville State is 5-7 on the season but produced a win in their first ASUN match, as they bested North Alabama 5-2. This will be a heated affair, as these two squads have never played each other before. Leading the charge for the Gamecocks is Romane Mosse and Anna Syrova, as they sit as the No. 1 and No. 2 options. These two will be a tough matchup for juniors Chunxi Xin and Fuka Nonoyama. However, they will be important for the match final, as this is one of the tougher squads in the ASUN.
UCA will hope to continue their hot start as everyone on their squad is currently undefeated in conference play. While it is impossible to expect that, it will be a major factor as this squad has the ability to beat anyone and any given day.
