NASHVILLE - The Central Arkansas tennis program started this new era of the ASUN with one of the best finishes possible as they posted a clean sweep against Lipscomb University.
The Bears took no prisoners today as they left everything out on the court and showed that they are a team that will compete to be one of the best in the ASUN. Lipscomb could not muster anything against UCA as they went a perfect 8-0 including both doubles matches that finished. Not only did the Bears host a perfect afternoon, but they also dominated almost all the matches as five of the six singles matches ended in only two sets. Overall the start of the ASUN era could not have gone better, and UCA will hope to continue this momentum as they start in on this challenging new conference slate.
