CONWAY, Ark. - The University of Central Arkansas tennis program finishes out the regular season schedule as they host Southern Arkansas. 

The Bears added another matchup late as the Muleriders come into town for a non-conference dual in the regular-season finale tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.

UCA comes into the matchup on a hot streak as they have won four straight duals. During that span, the Bears have had numerous players showcasing their excellence on the court. Some of those players include junior Yada Vasupongchai, sophomore Fuka Nonoyama and sophomore Chunxi Xin. Vasupongchai has been the ultimate headliner for UCA as she recently finished out the season 9-0 in conference play. Nonoyama and Xin also claimed a perfect record, but as a doubles team as they were 9-0 at the No. 1 spot. All three have been the squad's foundation as they have gifted the team with automatic points throughout the season. Because of these three, UCA will head into the Southland Tournament as the No. 3 seed as they finished out conference play at 8-2. 

The Muleriders are an entirely different team than the Bears are used to, mainly because they are an NCAA Division II member. Southern Arkansas is currently 6-12 overall with a 3-3 record in the Great American Conference. The Muleriders are led by their No. 1 sophomore Lena Milosevic. Milosevic is 66-30 for her career with Southern Arkansas and was a GAC tournament champion in 2019. 

UCA will hope to use this matchup as a way to continue to find their groove as they head into the SLC Tournament on April 22.
