CONWAY, Ark.  _ The University of Central Arkansas has signed Elias Cato to a national letter of intent to join the UCA men's basketball program.

    Cato is a 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward from Queensland, Australia, who played at Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kan. Cato averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 52 percent from the field and 42 percent from three-point range.

    "At his size, Elias is a great multi-positional player,' said UCA head coach Anthony Boone. "His athleticism and ability to handle the ball and shoot makes him a tough matchup."
