FRISCO, Texas - The Southland Conference released its all-conference first, second, and third teams, as well as Post-Season honors. Two Bears were honored by the Southland Conference for their great seasons.
Sophomore
Emma Hawkins, a midfield/forward, was named to the First Team All-SLC after finishing second in the most goals in the conference with seven. Hawkins scored the only hat-trick during the conference season. While putting 20 shots on goal and scoring seven goals, Hawkins set herself at the second-highest average goal per shot with a goal coming every 1.82 shots on goal. This is her second season on the all-conference team after getting on the second team, last year.
Abby Gibson, a sophomore midfielder was named to the Third Team All-SLC after an impressive season from the center-mid position. Scoring three goals from five shots on goal in conference play. Playing 916 minutes during SLC play out of a potential 990. This is her first time to have post-season recognition from the Southland Conference.
