CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas men's cross country team played host to the 2019 Southland Conference Championships at Beaverfork Lake Park on Friday.
Jaron Hamilton placed 20th overall and led the Bears, as the team finished in seventh.

Jaron Hamilton finished in 20th out of 92 on the 8K course with a personal-best time of 24:55.1.
Max Nores produced a career-best mark of 25:01.1 and placed 24th.
Josh Clethen clocked the best time of his career with a run of 25:26.5 and finished 34th.
Jared Hamilton notched a season-best run of 25:41.1 and came in 43rd.
Jared Touart produced a 54th-place finish with his personal-best mark of 26:03.2.
Hunter Henderson clocked the 56th-best time with his season-best performance of 26:04.4.
Simon Schneider posted the fastest run of his career with his 60th-place time of 26:08.3.
Parker Jackson finished 62nd with a career-best effort of 26:09.9.

Lamar won the men's team title with a score of 34 points, followed by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in second with 120 points, and Abilene Christian in third with 126. Lamar's Jordan Rowe won the individual title with a run of 24:01.7 and Kevin Kipkosgei finished in second with a mark of 24:08.6.
