"All the hard work that we have put in since the fall, all of the exhausting workouts and long practices; that's what today came down to," said UCA head coach Casey Wharton. "Not necessarily playing our best tennis, but putting the best version of yourself out there physically, mentally, and emotionally. Fighting for every point, looking at your teammates and seeing each one fighting their own individual battle, but at the end of the day we fight together as a family. And that's what today came down to: fighting as a family."
Central Arkansas plays a pair of matches on the road next weekend. The Sugar Bears will take on SLC foe Incarnate Word at 11:00 AM on Saturday, before squaring off with
former SLC member UTSA at 11:00 AM on Sunday.
