CONWAY, Ark. – The UCA tennis team was back in action Sunday for a match with future Southland Conference member, Oral Roberts. Oral Roberts took the match by the score of 4-1 and improved their record to 3-4 this season. UCA, meanwhile, dropped to 5-7 overall.
 
Oral Roberts swept through doubles to begin the afternoon and then took three of four singles matches that were finished. No. 3 singles between Kristina Horsikyan and Lina Semenova was stopped in the second set with Oral Roberts holding a 7-6, 3-0 advantage. Allison Hartman and Kristin Gray were also stopped in the second set. Gray led Hartman 7-5, 3-2 when the match was stopped.
 
Allison Murphy was responsible for the lone Sugar Bear victory on the afternoon. She picked up her second singles win of the year by defeating Hailey Martin, 6-4, 6-2.
 
The Sugar Bears will look to get back on the winning trek on Friday when they host Louisiana-Monroe at 1 p.m.
