CONWAY, Ark. – The UCA Sugar Bears record moved to 5-5 overall this season after a weekend in which they took a road match at Belmont, 4-3 before dropping a Sunday match at Murray State, 5-2.
Simona Horsikyan earned herself two wins this weekend at No. 1 singles, improving her overall record to 4-6. Meanwhile in doubles action, the duo of Kristina Horsikyan and Sasha Ruocco earned a split. They fell 8-3 to Belmont on Saturday but recovered with a 9-8 (7-5) victory over Murray State on Sunday.
UCA returns to action next Saturday when they host Southland Conference foe UTSA at 11 a.m.
