CORVALLIS, Ore. - The University of Central Arkansas men's soccer team lost the first match of the Oregon State Hensor/Zaher Nike Classic 1-0 to Seattle on Friday afternoon. The Redhawks (1-3-1) scored on a Sean Morris penalty kick in the 66th minute.

UCA (1-4) senior goalkeeper fouled Brady Ballew in the box to set up the penalty kick.

Seattle outshot UCA 15-6 for the game, but the Bears had a 5-4 advantage in shots on gaol. Zarate recorded three saves for the Bears, while Ivan Dizdir had five to gain the shutout for the Redhawks.

Joseph Cervantes, Alex Parker, Shafial Mason, Regis Mawire and Wynne Mason each recorded a shot on goal for UCA.

The Bears will face host Oregon State on Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. central time.
