Conway, Ark.- The Bears were back on the course this week competing in the Sandestin Collegiate Classic in Sandestin, Florida at The Raven Golf Club on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. After Round 1 the Bears were 12 strokes off the lead. The Bears moved up 10 spots in the standing in Round 2, shooting an incredible -9. Going into the Final Round the Bears were tied for 2nd place, 5 strokes out of 1st place. During the Final Round the Bears got to within 1 stroke of the lead about mid-way through the round. However, the Bears ended the tournament in 3rd place, shooting -1. Mercer and West Florida tied for 1st place at -2, 1 stroke ahead of the Bears. For the event the Bears made 195 pars (more than anyone), 36 birdies and 1 eagle. Fourteen teams and eighty golfers played in the event. UT Arlington was the only other UAC member in the field, they shot +16 for the event, finishing in 10th place.
 
Blane Burk shot -1 for the tournament, finishing in a tie for 13th place. Round 1: +4, Round 2: -3, Round 3: -2.
Sam Norman shot -1 for the tournament, finishing in a tie 13th place. Round 1: -4, Round 2: +1, Round 3: +2.
Cohen Kinnard shot +1 for the tournament. Round 1: +1, Round 2: -2, Round 3: +2.
Leopold Isserentant shot +4 for the tournament. Round 1: +3, Round 2: -2, Round 3: +3.
Vukasin Suturovic shot +5 for the tournament. Round 1: +3, Round 2: -2, Round 3: +4.
