Conway, Ark.- The ASUN has announced its All-Academic Team, four Central Arkansas Bears are being honored. To qualify for the chance to earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, the player must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5, have completed more than half of their degree and meet the on field playing requirements.

Silas Cowgill is a Graduate Student from Texarkana, Texas Majoring in Sports Management with a 4.0 GPA. Cowgill, a Relief Pitcher, has a 4-0 record on 19 appearances, he pitched 38.1 innings giving up just 24 earned runs, striking out 24 batters and opponents batted just .283 against him this season.

Keon Moseni is a Senior from Ontario, Canada Majoring in General Business with a 3.56 GPA. Moseni is a 1st Baseman and Designated Hitter, he played in 28 games with 18 starts. Moseni had 14 hits, 2 doubles, 4 rbi, an ob% of .355 and a 98% fielding % this season.

Sam Reynolds is an academic Junior from Hattieville, Ark. Majoring in Physical Education with a 3.56 GPA. Reynolds is an Outfielder, he played in 25 games with 14 starts. Reynolds scored 6 runs, hit 1 home run, had 8 rbi, and a 100% fielding % this season.

Casey Shipley is a Graduate Student from Farmington, Ark. Majoring in Family and Consumer Science with a 3.7 GPA. Shipley is a Catcher and Designated Hitter, he played in 26 games with 21 starts. Shipley has a .325 ba, scored 14 runs on 25 hits, 2 doubles, 3 home runs, 8 rbi, a slg% of .468, an ob% of .369 and a 98% fielding % this season.

The Bears are in DeLand, Florida to compete in the ASUN Championship tournament this week, will play Stetson on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. CT.
