CONWAY, Ark. – The ASUN has released its All-ASUN superlatives and Teams. Four Bears are named. Zeb Allen, Hunter Alexander, and Denver Hamilton were named 1st Team All-ASUN and Mark Ross was named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team. The Bears won 30 games this season, the most wins for the program since 2019 and finished 3rd in the ASUN Gold Division, the Bears overall record was the best in the ASUN Gold Division.
Zeb Allen a Junior from Fort Smith, Ark. had a tremendous season for the Bears. He set the UCA career and single season home run records. He was named ASUN Player of the Week and National Team of the Week by Baseball America. On the season Allen batted .316 with a 1.036 OPS, 53 runs, 62 hits, 7 doubles, 3 triples, 17 home runs, 52 RBI, 126 total bases, a .643 SLG%, a .393 OB% and stole 20 bases. For UCA he is 1st in BA, OPS, runs, triples, HRs, RBI, total bases, SLG% and stolen bases and 2nd in hits and OB%. In the ASUN he is 2nd in HRs, 6th in RBIs and SLG%, and 12th in total bases. Allen also had a 19 game on base streak, a 9 game hitting streak, had 14 games with multiple RBI and 19 multiple hit games.
Hunter Alexander a Senior from Bigelow, Ark. had a fantastic season on the mound in relief for the Bears. He set the career saves record and is tied for the single season saves record at UCA. He was named ASUN Pitcher of the Week, National Pitcher of the Year Semifinalist and to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watchlist. On the season Alexander made 26 appearances throwing 29.1 innings, with a 2.58 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, a 7-2 record, 11 saves, 74 strikeouts, gave up just 17 earned runs, and opponents batted just .207 against him. For UCA he is 1st in ERA, earned runs, strikeouts and B/AVG and 2nd in Wins. In the ASUN he is 1st in Saves and Earned Runs, 2nd in Wins and Innings Pitched, 3rd in ERA and B/AVG and 6th in Strikeouts.
Denver Hamilton a Junior from Red Oak, Okla. had a season to be remembered. As a Starting Pitcher this season, he made 12 starts going 8-0 with 1 complete game and was was honored as ASUN Pitcher of the Week during the season. On the season Hamilton threw 72 innings, gave up just 23 earned runs, only walked 14 batters while striking out 53 and opponents batted just .283 against him. For UCA he is 1st in Wins, Innings Pitched and WHIP, 2nd ERA, Earned Runs and B/AVG. In the ASUN he is 5th in ERA, 2nd in Ws, 7th in IP, 7th in Earned Runs, 14th in SOs, and 22nd in B/AVG.
Mark Ross a Redshirt Freshman from Springfield, Mo had a great season in the field and at the plate. Ross batted .243 this season will playing in 46 games with 44 starts. He scored 27 runs, had 36 hits, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs, 17 RBI, a SLG% of .392 and an OB% of .378. In the field he had 70 putouts and a 95% fielding %. For UCA he is tied for 1st in walks, 5th in runs, 6th in hits, 4th in doubles. He also had an 8 game on base streak, a 7 game hitting streak, 3 multiple RBI games and 10 multiple hit games.

The Bears will begin ASUN Championship Tournament play on Tuesday May 19th at 5 p.m. vs Stetson in DeLand, Florida.
