Conway, Ark.- The ASUN Conference announces Zeb Allen as the Baseball Player of the Week.

Allen, a Junior, from Fort Smith, Ark had a huge week as the Bears won four games including an ASUN series sweep of Bellarmine in Louisville. Over the five games the Bears had this past week, Allen had a batting average of .556 going 10-18, he had 2 doubles, 4 home runs, 11 RBI, 3 stolen bases, walked 4 times and scored 11 runs. Allen also broke UCA's single season home run record when he hit his 15^th of the season at Bellarmine on Friday, now has 17 on the season. Allen broke UCA's career home run record earlier this month at Lipscomb when he hit his 25^th career home run, he now has 30 in his career.

The Bears are currently in 2^nd place in the ASUN Gold Division and will head to 4^th place Austin Peay for a three-game series in Clarksville, Tenn. Game 1 on Friday at 6 p.m., Game 2 will be on Saturday at 4 p.m. and the series finale will be on Sunday at 1 p.m.
