Conway, Ark.- The ASUN Conference announces
Zeb Allen as the Baseball Player of the Week.
Allen, a Junior, from Fort Smith, Ark had a huge week as the Bears won four games including an ASUN series sweep of Bellarmine in Louisville. Over the five games the Bears had this past week, Allen had a batting average of .556 going 10-18, he had 2 doubles, 4 home runs, 11 RBI, 3 stolen bases, walked 4 times and scored 11 runs. Allen also broke UCA's single season home run record when he hit his 15
th of the season at Bellarmine on Friday, now has 17 on the season. Allen broke UCA's career home run record earlier this month at Lipscomb when he hit his 25
th career home run, he now has 30 in his career.

The Bears are currently in 2
nd place in the ASUN Gold Division and will head to 4
th place Austin Peay for a three-game series in Clarksville, Tenn. Game 1 on Friday at 6 p.m., Game 2 will be on Saturday at 4 p.m. and the series finale will be on Sunday at 1 p.m.
