Conway, Ark.- The Central Arkansas Bears (22-18, 10-8) will play two mid-week games this week. First at the Arkansas State Red Wolves (24-15, 9-9) on Tuesday at Tomlinson Stadium in Jonesboro, Ark and then at home against the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions (19-23, 12-6) on Wednesday at The Bear in Conway, Ark. First pitch on Tuesday, April 21st will be at 6:00 p.m., with first pitch on Wednesday, April 22
nd at 4:00 p.m. The Bears have a 7-8 record with ASU over the last 15 match-ups, last year these two teams played twice with both teams winning a game at the other teams field. Against UAPB, the Bears have a 30-3 all-time record and are 1-1 against the Golden Lions this season.
Last weekend the Bears were at home for an ASUN series with Eastern Kentucky. The Bears swept the series beating the Colonels in seven innings on Friday 12-2, winning 8-3 on Saturday and then winning the series finale on Sunday 9-6. The Bears had a huge 1

Jake Jones won game 2,
JB Williams earned the win on Sunday while
Hunter Alexander earned 3 saves on the week. H. Alexander now has 19 career saves and is tied for the UCA career record in saves. Overall this season, the Bears are batting .259 with 342 hits and a .418 slg% while their opponents are batting .281 with 378 hits and a .437 slg%.

The Red Wolves have won four of their last five games including a series win at ULM last weekend and a midweek win at Southern Illinois last Tuesday.
