Conway, Ark.- The Central Arkansas Bears (13-11, 3-3) will play a mid-week game at the University of Arkansas Razorbacks (18-7, 4-2) at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville, Ark. First pitch on Tuesday, March 24th will be at 6:00 p.m. The Bears and Hogs have played each other six times over the past five seasons, the Hogs have won all six games. One of those games was played a Dickey Stephens Park (Hogs won 2-1), the rest of the games have taken place in Fayetteville.
The Bears are 2-2 in mid-week games this season, beating Vanderbilt and ORU, while losing to Oklahoma State and La Tech. Last weekend the Bears played their home opening ASUN series against Bellarmine, winning the series 2-1. In Game 1, lots of runs were scored as the Bears won 17-12 while hitting four home runs.

Hunter Alexander got the win on the mound throwing 5.2 innings in relief striking out 5 batters while giving up just 2 earned runs.
Nate Negre scored 2 runs on 3 hits including 2 doubles and another home run totaling 4 rbi in the game. Negre's big weekend earned him ASUN Player of the week honors. Overall this season, the Bears are batting .264 with 211 hits and a .419 slg% while their opponents are batting .275 with 225 hits and a .420 slg%.
The Hogs are coming off a 2-1 SEC series win at South Carolina winning in 7 innings on Friday and in extra innings on Saturday before dropping the final game of the series. The Hogs have hit 35 home runs, 49 doubles and have scored 176 runs so far this season. The Hogs pitching staff has allowed 25 home runs, 19 doubles and 89 runs so far this season.
