FLORENCE, Ala. — Central Ark. (15-10, 10-2 ASUN) secured a 72-65 victory over North Ala. (7-16, 2-10 ASUN) on Monday night at CB&S Bank Arena at Flowers Hall. Central Ark. overcame an eight-point first-half deficit, outscoring North Ala. 43-28 in the second half. The Bears turned the Lions over 19 times and scored 25 points off those turnovers. This victory marks Central Arkansas' eighth consecutive win, including an impressive streak of four road victories in a row.
The first half between Central Arkansas and North Alabama began with North Alabama taking an early lead. Donte Bacchus scored a tip-in at 19:40, setting the tone for North Alabama, who capitalized on their inside game with 24 points in the paint. Central Arkansas responded with a fast-break layup from
Luke Moore to tie the score at 2-2. Despite the Bears' efforts, including a three-pointer by
Truman Byrne at 11:53 and a flurry of points from
Ty Robinson, they trailed 37-29 at the end of the half.

Javion Guy-King initiated the scoring with a 3-pointer at 19:47, assisted by Robinson. The Bears capitalized on North Alabama's turnovers, with Robinson and Moore both making key steals. Bears took their first lead of the game with 6:04 left in the game.
Camren Hunter was instrumental down the stretch, contributing significantly with a fast-break layup at 15:47 and adding crucial free throws in the final minutes to extend the lead.
