CONWAY, Ark. – Director of Athletics Matt Whiting has announced the hiring of Matthew Branch as our Director of Creative Services. Branch comes to Central Arkansas from Ouachita Baptist University where he served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.
 
Athletics Director, Matt Whiting, expressed his enthusiasm about the hire, "I'm excited to welcome Matt Branch to our staff as Director of Creative Services. Matt comes highly recommended from Ouachita Baptist University, with great experience in creative media and athletic communications. Matt's talent and skills will be an asset for our department, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact he will have on our creative media efforts."
 
Branch brings experience in all aspects of broadcast production from his time working with the Ouachita Sports Digital Network where he helped found and worked for the Network as broadcaster, cameraman, live stream director, and graphics coordinator for football, volleyball, soccer and swim teams at OBU. Branch also gained experience in this field from serving as a Media Relations Volunteer at the 2022 New Orleans Final Four, working as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Bearden High School football team, serving as a Broadcast Intern for the Mile High Collegiate Baseball League, and also performing the duties of the Public Address Announcer/Press box Manager at White Hall High School.
