CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Purple Circle has announced the launch of the Bear Nation Raffle, a new charitable initiative designed to support the University of Central Arkansas Department of Athletics and its student-athletes. The raffle provides fans another exciting opportunity to contribute to Central Arkansas Athletics, whether cheering for the Bears and Sugar Bears in person or from home.
The inaugural Bear Nation Raffle will take place in conjunction with the Bears' home football game against Eastern Kentucky University on Saturday, November 1, and will continue at select home sporting events this year. Fans may begin purchasing online entries starting Monday, October 27 on the UCA Athletics app or at
BearNationRaffle.com with the jackpot winner announced after the third quarter of the November 1st Homecoming game vs. Eastern Kentucky.
The winning participant will receive 50% of the net proceeds from the raffle, while the remaining funds will directly support the Purple Circle's mission to provide financial assistance for scholarships, facilities, and operational needs for UCA Athletics.
"We are thankful for the tremendous support we receive from our community, and Bear Nation Raffle provides a fun and engaging way for our fans to support our student-athletes, coaches, and staff," said
Matt Whiting, UCA Director of Athletics. "Every ticket purchased supports the continued growth and advancement of Central Arkansas Athletics, ensuring that our programs are equipped with the resources needed for academic and competitive success."
