Bryce Cermenelli was recognized Monday for his work in the classroom, being named to the ASUN All-Academic baseball team.
Ceremenelli, a senior from Norco, Calif., graduated summa cum laude this spring with a degree in family and consumer science.
Cermenelli had a stellar season on the field, despite a season-ending knee injury against Lipscomb on April. 19. At the time of the injury he was the No. 2 hitter in the ASUN with a .395 average. He also finished the regular season as the team-leader in hits (60) and on-base percentage (.461) despite missing the final 14 games. Cermenelli had just one error on the season and had a .990 fielding percentage.
Cermenelli had 19 multi-hit games and had a streak of 24 consecutives games reaching base.
