MEMPHIS, Tenn. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears wil play one final non-conference game before finishing up ASUN Conference play this weekend.
The Bears will take on the Memphis Tigers at 4 p.m. Tuesday at FedEx Park.
UCA and Memphis will be meeting for the second time this season after the Tigers beat the Bears 13-3 last month in Conway. In that game, the Tigers had 13 hits and held the Bears to just six.Â
The Tigers are 21-30 overall and 8-16 in the American Athletic Conference. UCA is 19-29 overall and 12-15 in the ASUN. The Bears secured their spot in next week's ASUN Championship in DeLand, Fla., with a victory over league-leader Austin Peay last Saturday.
The Bears will close out the regular season Thursday-Saturday at home against the North Alabama Lions. UCA and UNA are battling for the third seed from the ASUN Gold Division. UNA is 13-14 in league play while UCA is 12-15.Â
UCA will hold graduation ceremonies prior to Friday's game at 6 p.m., and Senior Day activities prior to Saturday's 1 p.m. game.
The ASUN Championship begins on Tuesday at Stetson's Melching Field at Conrad Park in DeLand, Fla.
