COMMERCE, Texas — Central Ark. fell to East Texas A&M, 75-68, on Sunday night at the Field House. Despite leading at halftime, Central Ark. [4-6, 0-0 ASUN] was outscored by 10 points in the second half.
Central Arkansas and East Texas A&M engaged in a tightly contested first half, with neither team gaining a significant edge. The Bears built a modest lead with contributions from
Ty Robinson, who hit a three-pointer at 17:34, and
Cole McCormick, who added a dunk midway through the half. Despite East Texas A&M's efforts to keep pace, highlighted by Ronnie Harrison's three-point shot with 17 seconds remaining,
Luke Moore of Central Arkansas nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer, giving his team a 35-32 lead at the end of the half.
