Preview: Bears vs Colonels on Homecoming

CONWAY, Ark. – It's Homecoming at the University of Central Arkansas! The Bears (3-5, 2-2) will host the Colonels (3-5, 1-3) from Eastern Kentucky University in a United Athletic Conference match-up on Saturday, November 1st, kickoff is set for 4:00 P.M. in Estes Stadium. The Bears return home to Conway after being away for the past month.

Central Arkansas is looking to get back on track after a 1point loss at the University of West Georgia last week, ending their two-game win streak. Eastern Kentucky has lost their last two games and is looking to get in the win column as the season enters the last month of regular season games. The Colonels lead the all-time series with the Bears 4-2, three of the past six match-ups have been decided by just three points.

For the Bears, running back Landen Chambers leads the way for the offense. Chambers is averaging 108 rushing yards per game; he has run for more than 100 yards in all but 2 games and has 6 touchdowns on the season. Quarterback Austin Myers has thrown for more than 1,000 yards in just four games and has 9 touchdown passes. Receivers Malachi Henry and Tyrell Pollard lead the team in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
