CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas men's track and field team sends its 4x100m to Eugene, Oregon to compete in the NCAA Track & Field Semifinals. The Bears are headed to the semifinals for the third time in program history, and the first time since 2021.
The Bears that qualified is the team of
Kobe Gill,
TyJuan Huffman,
Wesley Suen and
Aaron Webb, who claimed the last spot out of the Fayetteville Regional after posting a program record time of 39.53 seconds. The team had also broken the program record at the ASUN Championships with a time of 39.67 seconds.
It marks the third time in program history that Central Arkansas will be represented in a national semifinal, and the first time since 2021, when
Zachary Jewell competed in the 100m dash.
Central Arkansas is set to run at 6:32 p.m. CT.
