CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas cross country teams head to Texas A&M to compete in the Aggies' Arturo Barrios Invitational on Friday. The men will run an 8k at 8:30 a.m., followed by the women running a 6k at 9:15.
The Bears look to continue to improve this fall, having last competed in Mizzou's Gans Creek Classic. And with just weeks until the ASUN Championships, Friday's meet hopes to show improvement from a Bears squad that started off the season on a good note at home. Last time Central Arkansas ran races of this distance, four men's runners set new personal-bests.
The race on Friday will feature 40 total teams and over 800 runners from across the country. As previously mentioned, the men get things kicked off at 8:30 a.m., followed by the women's run at 9:15.
