NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears and the Little Rock Trojans will meet for the third and final time on Tuesday night at Dickey-Stephens Park in the "Governor's I-40 Showdown."
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at the Seattle Mariners' Double A park.
The Trojans won both the previous meetings this season, winning 3-2 at home at Gary Hogan Field on March 7, and also taking an 8-2 win at Bear Stadium on April 25. UCA has wrapped up the "I-40 Showdown" competition for the 2022-23 season.Â
The Bears (21-29), who close out their ASUN schedule at home with a series with Eastern Kentucky beginning on Thursday night, are coming off three losses at Jacksonville (Ala.) State last weekend in league play. The Trojans (29-19) took two out of three from Tennessee Tech last weekend at home.
UCA won two out of three in the series last season, with two of the games being played in Conway because of a scheduling conflict with Dickey-Stephens Park. The teams will be meeting for the 88th time on Tuesday, with the Bears holding a 47-39-1 all-time advantage in a series that began in 1964..

The Trojans are led by Nico Baumbach with a .364 batting average, including 11 home runs. Tyler Williams is close behind at .362 with nine home runs. As a team, Little Rock has a .299 batting average and a 4.95 earned-run average.

The Bears will host their Senior Day activities prior to the noon Saturday game at Bear Stadium. UCA is also hosting the Arkansas high school state championship games this weekend, with the Bears playing at 6 p.m. Thursday, 3 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.Â
