JACKSONVILLE, Fla. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears will head back to Jacksonville, Fla., for the second time in a month for a key ASUN Conference series against the North Florida Ospreys this weekend.
The Bears (15-17, 6-6) and Ospreys (17-15, 5-7) will open their series at Harmon Stadium at 5 p.m. (CT) Friday. Game 2 is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, with the series finale at noon Sunday.
UCA played at Jacksonville University on March 24-26 and lost all three games. The Bears' latest conference action was last weekend at Liberty in Lynchburg, Va., where they took one of three games from the Flames. UCA is 5-1 in home ASUN games but 1-5 on the road.
The Ospreys went 1-2 last weekend at home against Jacksonville State, winning the middle game 5-3 before losing 16-1 in seven innings on Saturday. UNF is 14-8 overall at home this season.

Kolby Johnson has a team-high 38 hits and team-high 26 runs batted in. Johnson also has 16 extra-base hits, including six home runs, two triples and eight doubles.
The Ospreys are fourth in the ASUN in hitting with a .290 average, second in scoring with 240 runs and third in total hits at 321. However, UNF's is No. 11 in team ERA at 6.91. Jakob Runnels is their top hitter at .370 with 10 home runs. Alex Lodise also has 10 homers and is hitting .317.
UNF is expected to start lefthander Peter Holden (3-3, 5.10 ERA) on Friday, righthander Dom Madonna (4-2, 7.34) on Saturday and righthander Clayton Boroski (1-6, 4.86) on Sunday.
Both teams are solid in the running game, with UCA second in the ASUN with 58 stolen bases and UNF fourth with 54.
