   CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears open their final four-game home stand of the season on Tuesday night when they host the Little Rock Trojans in the third and final installment of the "Governor's I-40 Showdown."
   First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Bear Stadium.
   UCA hosts its final ASUN Conference series beginning Thursday night against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
   The Bears beat the Trojans in both of the earlier matchups this season, winning 3-1 in Conway in March and taking an 11-5 victory in Little Rock on April 12. UCA has already wrapped up its third consecutive showdown title, leading Little Rock 24-12 in the year-long competition.
   Neither team has mustered much offense in the two previous meetings, with UCA hitting .200 and Little Rock .221. The Bears' pitching has been considerably better, sporting a 2.50 earned-run average compared to 6.35 for the Trojans. UCA pitchers have struck out 11 and walked just three, while Little Rock's have 14 strikeouts and 13 walks.
   Sophomore center fielder
Drew Sturgeon of Farmington, Ark., has a .429 batting average with five runs batted in against the Trojans this season, including a home run and double in the win at Gary Hogan Field.
   UCA's two victories on the mound both came from its starting pitchers,
Jesse Barker and
Jack Haley. Both went at least 6.0 innings, struck out four and allowed just one run.
