CHATMAN ADDS FOUR ON SIGNING DAY

Conway – After earning the second seed in the Southland Conference Tournament for the second year in a row and reaching the 20-win mark for the ninth time in the last 12 years, Central Arkansas volleyball head coach Jeni Jones Chatman has announced the addition of four players to her program for the 2019 season.

"We're really pleased with the class that we have coming in," said Chatman.  "They're a very dynamic group of players from all over. They're a bunch of really talented athletes, but they're also very bright students.  They're coming in with probably the highest GPA as a group in my time here."

Anna Williams comes to Central Arkansas after spending four years at West Side Christian School, where she was named to the AASC All-District Team four times and was named WSCS Offensive MVP in each season. A three-time AASC All-State and All-State Tournament selection, she capped her career by being named the AASC Player of
the Year as a senior.

"I chose Central Arkansas because of the genuinely positive atmosphere of the players and the coaches," said Williams. "The kindness and generosity that the staff and team present to me was unlike anything I experienced elsewhere, and it was something that I did not want to go my four years of college living without."

Kailee Moon joins the purple and gray after spending her high school career at James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas. She earned All-District honors in 2016 and 2017, with the teams yet to be announced for this season, and was named an Outstanding Blocker during all four years. She earned Rising Star recognition and was chosen to represent the Lone Star Region in the USAV High Performance Championships in 2016.
