PATTERSON, La. _ The University of Central Arkansas men's golf team finished second Tuesday at the Nicholls State Atchafalaya Intercollegiate played at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild.
   UCA shot rounds of  293-288-292 for a total of 873. Louisiana-Monroe won the tournament at 853, followed by Incarnate Word (874), UTRGV (875), Nicholls (883), Mobile (904), New Orleans (908) and Texas Southern (911).
   UCA sophomore Lewis George finished in a tie for fourth place with rounds of 74-65-75 for a 2-under 214. Junior Louis Tomlinson tied for ninth place, shooting 72-77-69 for a 2-over 218. Sophomore Luis Obiols shot 71-74-75_220 and tied for 15th. Senior Ryan Shuttleworth shot 76-72-74_222 to tie for 18th, while sophomore Alvaro Carol Estrems shot 76-77-74_227 and tied for 29th place.Â
   Junior Rodrigo Rivas, playing as an individual, shot 78-76-73_227 and tied for 29th place.Â
   UCA returns to action next Monday at the Colin Montgomerie Houston Baptist Invitational.
